Hiring a personal chef is still a fairly new idea, so my customers always have questions. Here are the ones I’m asked every day….

What is a personal chef?

A personal chef is someone who is very skilled at cooking and can create what ever you desire, they also cover general catering work but are very good at making events bespoke, rather than having to stick to ridged menus!

What events can you cater for?

Anything you can imagine. Family events, corporate functions. Indoors or outdoors. As long as there’s a kitchen or barbecue to hand, you can hire me as your personal chef so you can concentrate on your guests.

I can even accompany you on holiday, as your personal chef and waiter. Whether it’s a self-catering villa, a hen weekend or a week on a luxury yacht – I really don’t mind (but if it’s ok with you I’d prefer the luxury yacht…)

What else can you do?

I can give cookery lessons or stage a cookery demonstration in your home or at your corporate event. You can even buy a Yummy Gift Certificate so your friends can enjoy their own personal chef – just make sure they invite you for the night I turn up!

I'm not sure if I need you I might just need some advice? 

That's no problem at all! we love to help! Give us a call and we will help you where ever we can! don't worry if you don't need us we'll probably be able to recommend people that you do need! 

Can you prepare food in advance?

Absolutely! We can either prepare our freezer pleasers or drop of prepared food for you a couple of hours before you need it!

Can you prepare food on the day, then leave us to serve it ourselves?

Of course, if that’s your preference. You could even tell your guests you've been slaving away all day! We won’t tell if you don't!

How does hiring you compare with eating out?

Hiring a personal chef is a great alternative to eating at a top class restaurant. But there’s no hassle with taxis or babysitters.

More importantly, you’ll be getting the chef’s undivided attention for the evening. That’s something you’ll never get eating out, even in the swankiest place in town.

Do you have sample menus?

Of course - our menu section gives a good idea of the culinary delights ahead. But don't let these ideas limit your imagination! Between us we can come up with a menu just for you. Let’s talk likes, loves & fantasy food.

Do you make cakes?

Believe me, cakes are what I do best! From a birthday sponge to a 4-tier wedding fruit cake, or a Profiterole Extravaganza. If you’re a cake lover, give me a call. Check out pictures in the gallery section!
